Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Fairhope Economic and Industrial Development Board 13 April 2010 The regular meeting, duly noticed to the public , was called to order by Chairman Charles Bassett at 6:01PM at the Board Room of the Fairhope Public Library. Members present in addition were Hubert Hinote , Gary Moore and Rusty Winfree . A quorum was present and declared. Josh Thornton of the Baldwin Economic Development Alliance was also present. City Councilman Dan Stankowski was also in attendance for much of the meeting. The minutes of the last meeting were not immediately available but will be presented for approval when available . A Treasurer 's Report showed a bank account balance of$9,613.39 , as of March 31 , 2010 . We paused for a time of respect for member Bill Payne who recently passed away. Under Bill 's leadership , we were very active and were introduced to new aerospace industry opportunities . He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed . Josh Thornton gave an update on BCEDA activities. Chairman Bassett discussed some general information about prospects or enlargement by current businesses. We discussed several vacancies on the Board and exchanged names of prospects. On motion that we change our meeting time to the second Tuesday of the quarter, starting June 8, 2010 , at 6pm, made by Rusty Winfree and seconded by Hubert Hinote , the motion carried unanimously. There being no further business , and the agenda being complete , upon the motion by Rusty Winfree and seconded by Hubert Hinote , the meeting was adjourned upon the unanimous vote in the affirmative at 6:55PM.
