Attending were Geoff Cain, Catherine King and John Teratsas. The minutes were approved, the accessions were accepted, the July calendar of attendance, and the board member contact sheets, were handed out. Barrett gave his Director's report. He told of the progress that has been 'made on the Jubilee Exhibit, which has not as of yet, been completed. He reported that the City's IT Department has recommended an upgrade to the Museum's Past -Perfect 4 software. This upgrade will cost $495.00. The Museum has received the Organic School program which is playing on the video screen that is mounted in the Pier House. Reviews have been quite complimentary. Barrett has ordered the artificial pine tree for the back door area, and it should be arriving in late September. Barrett reported that he has been having trouble finding vendors for the digital message repeaters. The sources which proved promising have failed to produce. A new source for touch screen technology is currently being explored. Also, on the wish list, Barrett has picked out a new reception desk from the McAleer furniture website. This new desk would give our back door area a much more professional look. Barrett has been invited to the FSTC meeting on Wednesday, August 11 th, to thank them for the contributions to the museum, and the possible continuation of these funds into the next year. Meeting was adjourned at 4:28 pm. -r---~~~-----------------. --· ·-----·· -.. ·-".---- KUGUST 2010 Pigeon Fotg ennessee ~ Sunday Mond?y Tuesday W ednesday Thursday Fr ida y Saturday 1 2 3 4 ... 5 6 7 4 3"'~ 47 37 3(o 3J__ 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 . ~3 --33 ~~ 30 . 1-{o 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 Fost Quarter 12 37 ;)(p A~ Co~ 22 23 /414 25 26 27 28 3 "'-g__1 ~4 d-D 31 29 30 31 JULY2010 SEP TEMBER 20 10 SM TWTF S SMTWTFS i3 l 2 3 l 2 3 4 45678910 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 12 13 14 15 16 . 17 18 ' 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 19 20 2 1 22 23 24 25 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 26 27 28 29 30 \
