Details of dates and times and EAC members that will be visiting the
Fairhope area public schools
Concerns about cuts in humanities, need for maintenance funds, (not
a budgeted item with the Baldwin County School Board), concerns
about relationship with the leadership of the Baldwin Co. School Top
Administrators and the local school leadership. $120K discretionary
funds. Question and discussion about a survey in the local schools i.e.,
is this a good idea and if so how might we approach the
administration of a survey?
How might we identify all the groups contributing assets in support of
the Fairhope area schools? We can engage our investor in designing a
model for the future of our area schools and best utilize our investors
in support of realizing the best learning opportunities for our children
Lively discussion with many ideas to include the community,
including educator, and various community groups: Chamber of
Commerce, civic groups, boosters, etc.
Visit the location and be sure the
facility is OK for our meetings
Schedule specific plans, times and
dates, to visit the schools and meet with
principals and teachers
Initiate more visits to the rest of our
area schools and gather information
Plan Summit after the EAC
presentation to the Fairhope City
Council
Develop an instrument and apply tools,
of a professional nature, to organize
our data, information, & knowledge
into meaningful context for The
Summit via a Charrette Process
