taken bids on the job and had accepted a bid of approximately
$9,000.00; however, the Board's operating fund is a little
low due to decreased cigarette and beer sales (the tax on
same is used to fund recreation activities) and increased
demand for services. After some discussion, Councilman Overstreet
moved to table the request. Seconded by Councilman Bishop,
motion carried by the following vote: AYE -Duck, Bishop,
Puckett, and Overstreet. NAY -Ford.
Councilwoman Puckett moved to pay bills as presented.
Seconded by Councilman Overstreet, motion passed unanimously.

Council be ready to discuss this request at the next regular
session.
Meeting was duly adjourned at 6:10 pm.
