Actl g City Cler 333 STATE OF ALABAMA COUNTY OF BALDWIN X The City Council, City of Fairhope, met in special session at 5:15 p.m., City Administration Building, 387 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope, Alabama 36532, on Monday, 7 December 1981. Present were Mayor James P. Nix; Councilmembers Roy C. White, Sam E. Box, C.O. McCawley and Trisha Nelson and David Ed Bishop. Marii Ziegler . The purpose of this meeting was to transact business relative to the Civic Center Complex. Councilman McCawley moved to adopt the following Resolution, seconded by Councilman Box, motion passed unanimously: RESOLUTION NO. 25-81 BE IT RESOLVED, by the Fairhope City Council that the Mayor be authorized to renew the $400,000.00 note with the First National Bank of Baldwin County for an additional six months. ADOPTED THIS THE 7th DAY OF DECEMBER, 1981. Acting City er Councilman Ed Bishop moved to adopt the following Resolution, seconded by Councilwoman N�Ttpyftlg�bio2%&ssed unanimously: BE IT RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Agent be authorized to solicit bids, with the right to reject any and all bids, on various stages of construction at the Fairhope Civic Center as directed by the construction superintendent and building inspector, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all tabulation of bids be submitted to the Fairhope City Council for their approval, and THEN THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that various funds from non-restrictive or surplus savings accounts be used for the rennovation expense of the Fairhope Municipal Complex, until interest rates have dropped to where it will be feasible to sell long term bonds.
