Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
Correspondence:
The Chairman read letters received from F.A.A. and State
Department of Aeronautics re: questions raised at meeting
of December 4.
Mr. Witznadel discussed the gasoline tax reports and agreed
to prepare them monthly.
Or. Mullins reported the fine job the City did in gradingg
for the parkin area adjacent to the office building. li
was sug ested that a letter of appreciation be sent to Mr.
Radclif for his contribution of asphalt.
Mr. Dyson discussed soil erosion and offered the City's
help in controlling it.
Mr. Lacey suggested that Mr. Niemeyer contact Mr. Ed Warley
re: possible purchase price of a certain portion of the
Prine Estate.
Dr. Mullins noted a letter from AAA Air Service regarding
gasoline charges. Mr. Witznadel agreed to submit another
letter covering all charges of the field.
Mr. Witznadel submitted certificates of insurance from
Mann (Cline, Inc. and U. S. Aviation Underwriters.
Dr. Mullins suggested that the City Attorney render an
opinion on liability insurance.
Mr. Macon agreed to contact Mr. Charles Gay re: billboard
design.
Mr. Niemeyer agreed to contact Mr. Johnny Ferguson con-
cerning article in A.O.P.A. magazine.
Mr. Lacey moved, Mr. Niemeyer 2nd, to make Mr. Sam Witznadel
the official City Airport Manager. Motion carried.
Mr. G. F. Arnold sug ested that a rack containing literature
from the Chamber of �ommerce be placed in the Airport office.
