Howard Ruge, Mayor, Councilmen: M.O. Berglin, Sam Dyson, H.P. Kamperr, C .A. Gaston and J.O. Stimpson, the same constituting the full membership of the Town Council. Kamper that the application of a building permit be granted the Fairhope Coal and Supply Company subject to filling a copy of the plans as, provided for in the ordinance. Councilman G.A. Gaston introduced and moved the following resolution. WHEREAS it is in the interest of sound accounting to provide for a complete separation of the funds of the various depart- ments of the Town of Fairhope therefor e BE IT RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Town of. Fairhope is here- by instructed and ordered to open an account in the name of the Fairhope. Electric Department of the Town of Fairhope and therein to place all income and revenue of whatsoever character properly ( belonging to such Electric Dept and: to tke'1 rrofW' itbdi_wals or ! expenditures therefrom except to discharge the bona fide obli- gations of such Electric Dept and as hereinafter provideds and WHEREAS the Electric Department is receiving office services 1rovided by the General Department to an approximate value of 7500 monthly and WHEREAS the Electric Department is earning a net revenue justifying the payment of a rofit to the General Department in the amount of an additional 9325,00 monthly, the ref ore, j i V- BE IT RESOLVED that the Clerk shall be and is hereby in- structed and ordered to draw from the Electric Fund herein provided for, $400.00 monthly and deposit the- same to the. credit of the General Fund. i WHEREAS the Water and Sewer Department of the- Town of Fairhape is receiving services rendered by the Town Clerk and Assistant An the amount of $30.00 and $20.00 per month respective therefore BE IT RESOLVED,. that $30.00 of the Clerk's salary and $20.00 of the Assistant's salary shall be paid from the funds of such Water and Sewer Department. Resolution unamimoubly approved and adopted. It was moved by C-.A. Gaston and seconded by Councilman H.P. Ka.mper that the amount of current used in the street lights be listed in the minutes each month. Motion carried. It was moved by Councilman 1d.0. Berglin and seconded by Councilman H.P. Hamper that Smith, Dukes and Buckalew bill for the annual audit of the Town Books be allowed stnd that the audit be published in the Courier.
