Fairhope, Alabama

A special meeting was held by the Board of Aldermen for
the purpose of considering purchase of repair parts for 180
horsepower diesel generating set. A motion was made by Alder-
man G.A. &aston and seconded by Alde�rma;n M.O. Berglin that
they accept proposal of Fairbanks, Morse & Co. to sell the
Town of Fairhope all necessary repairs for the 180 horsepower
diesel generating set to put the engine in first class condit-
ion, for the net sum of $L-v942,00. Payable in 12 equal monthly
installments, with interest at 5%
A vote was had on the above motion and resulted as follows:
(names of Aldermen voting for and against said proposal submit-
ted by Fairbanks, Morse & Co.)
All members present: Carried unanimously.
Further, the Mayor then declared the
proposal duly accepted.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN
OF FAIRHOPE, ALABA7,TA9 IN SPECIAL SESSION CONVENED, THAT, The
Town of Fairhope accect the proposal of Fairbanks, Morse & Co.
dateddSeptember 19th, 1938, whichproposal is made a part, here-
of, and that Howard Ruge, Mayor of the Town of. Fairhope, Ala-
bama, and Geo. W. Morgan, Clerk of said Town, be: and they are
hereby Sathorized to do any gnd all acts nezessary to issue
and carry out the execution of said contract growing out of
said proposal.
On motion of Alderman Sam Dyson, and Seconded by Alderman H.
P. Kamper, the above resolution was thereupon read and adopted,
by the following vote:
