County of Baldwin
The Water and Sewer Board of the City of Fairhope met in regular
session at the City Hall, Wednesday, April 13, 1955 with the
following members present: Chairman R. Roy Moyers, A. C. Mannich
and C. B. Niemeyer, City Manager, L. A. Berglin being absent.
The minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved
as read.
Motion by Mr. Mannich seconded by Mr. Moyers that the following
bills be approved for payment:

Motion by Mr. Mannich seconded by Mr. Moyers that the letter from
Pitman Realty Co. and attached estimate of cost of water line
be included in the minutes of this meeting. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Mannich seconded by Mr. Moyers that the requestfrom
R. R. Nahrgang xxaxaxk1x9 for water line be granted and that
the letter be made a part.of the minutes of this meeting. Motion
carried.
The Board discussed sewage stoppage in a number of areas in the
City and requested the City 'anager to get an estimate on insurance
to cover damages and to write the Alabama League of Municipalities
for any information they might have concerning same.
It was duly moved and seconded that the meeting adjourn. Motion
carried.

Dear Mr. Moyer:
For your consideration of putting in water to my
proposed subdivision, I agree to build a minimum of twelve
houses within a three year period, and if this obligation
is not fulfilled, it is my understanding that I am to pay
the town $100 for each unit under the minimum requirement.
I appreciate the cooperation of the Board, and I
sincerely hope that our project will bring an additional
