The Water and Selmer Board of the City_ of Fairhope
met in regular session at the City Hall, Tuesday,
October 7, 1952 with the following members present:.
Chairman h. Roy Moyers, L. A. Berglin, Sr., and
Arthur Mannich.
The minutes of the previous regular meeting were read
and approved as read.
Potion by Mr. Mannich seconded by lair. Berglin that the
following bills be approved for payment:

On motion by Mr. Mannich seconded by Ir.
Berglin the
following Resolution was unanimously adopted:
BE IT RESOLVED that Mr. C. B. Niemeyer
be employed as
Manager of the Water and Sewer Department at a salary
of $100.00 per month payable on the 15th day of each
calendar month; this Board reserves the
right to dismiss
the said C. B. Niemeyer at will, with or without cause,
and to increase or decrease such salary
from time to time
at the Board's discretion. Motion carried.
On motion by Mr. Berglin seconded by Mr. Mannich the
following Resolution was unanimously adopted:
BE IT RESOLVED that George Dyson be re-employed as
Superintendent of the Water and Sewer Department at a
salary of $200.00 per month payable on the 15th day of
each calendar month; this Board reserves the right to
dismiss the said George Dyson at will, with or without
cause, and to increase or decrease such salary from time
to time at the Board's discretion. Motion carried.
On motion by Mr. Yannich seconded by Mr. Berglin the
following resolution wasunanimously adopted:
BE IT RESOLVED that Marie Moore be reappointed as
Secretary and Treasurer df the Water and Sever Board
at a salary of $50.00 per month payable on the 15th day of
each calendar month; this Board reserves the right to
dismiss the said Marie Moore at will, with or without
cause, and to increase or decrease such salary f� om time
to time at the Board's discretion. It shall be the duty
of the Secretary and Treasurer to attend all meetings
of the Board and keep a rdcDrd of its proceedings, keep
a set of books of the Water and Sewer Department and perform
any and all duties that may be required of her. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Berglin seconded by Mr. Mannich that
the $200.00 monthly payment to the General Fund for
Clerical Services be discontinued. Motion carried.
It was duly moved and seconded that the meeting adjourn.
Motion carried.
