the City Administration Building, 161 N. Section Street
Present: Sue Mason, Chairman; Jack Nelson, Mike Baugh
The minutes of the February 10, 2004 meeting were duly approved as
presented. (Mike Ford and Khim Vira were available by phone)
Sue said the one official piece of business that we needed to take care
today was that Colton Coile wanted to withdraw the proposal he had made
at the February 1 Oth meeting. After learning it was a conflict of interest he
decided he would do more good as an Airport Authority member. She
moved that this be done, Jack Nelson 2"d the motion and it carried
unanimously. Sue went on to tell others that she has learned that the cost
of building t-hangars has gone down considerably since we last looked into
cost. She suggested that it might be economically feasible for the authority
to build the t-hangars and rent them out. She said Adrian Johnson builds
them and we would run electricity to them . Mike Baugh asked if FAA was
ok with us occupying that space. She told him that it was actually in the
masterplan to put them there.
Sue discussed the project and said because of the rain the project is still
closed down. Waiting for the ground to dry out enough to start again. She
said we did not get all the money we applied for, but will put in for rest of it
again.
There being no other official business, meeting was duly adjourned at
8:30AM.
