She said a total of 6 gates will be installed. She also reported that bids were opened on grading and drainage for the runway on June 6th and that they are still being analyzed. She said the project is going well. That we should have at least one layer of asphalt down by Christmas. That when finished we will be years ahead of other local airports in general aviation. She presented the safety and security regulations that Jack and Khim had worked up and asked them to study them for action next meeting (copy in file). She asked Colton about derelict airplane and he replied that they are dismantling it and it should be gone by tomorrow. They are taking the parts over to an aviation technical college to be used as a teaching device. That being the case Sue wanted to go ahead and consider fifth amendment to the lease that had been presented by Teledyne and said this had been run by our lawyers as well and revised. Discussion followed on this proposed lease amendment. Mike Ford said he hated to approve lease revision if we do not have tenant for front part of building. Sue said she still has someone interested. Mike asked if we could get a letter of intent from them that they wish to take over front part of building. Certainly if they are serious this should not be a problem. It was put in the form of a motion by Colton Coile to have the revised amendment submitted to Teledyne (via Colton Coile). Jack Nelson 2"d the motion and it carried unanimously. A second motion was made for Sue Mason to ask Crestview for a letter of intent. Motion was made by Mike Baugh, 2"d by Jack Nelson and unanimously carried. Sue said she had talked with Mikey Jones about this proposed lease and only problem with drilling test wells is whether or not they are in the restricted height area. around the airport. She said-thexwish to drill a total of three. She said they need to get an engineer to go out and measure whether or not they are in this zone and she toad them they needed to do this. She thinks we might bevkW but need -ter be sure. There being no further business, meeting was duly adjourned. There was no meeting in July as there was not a quorum.
