Under old business everyone commented they thought the sign looked nice,
getting a lot of attention. Phil said the pool is running fine. The Founders Park
was talked about and the city crews have started working out there. Mike Ford
reported that Tim Kant said that they will have grass on the ground the last week
in July. Phil said they put 250 ft of pipe in the ground today. He showed them the
concession stand plans that Tim had gotten but nobody liked the design or the
fact that the restrooms were located in the same building. They liked the design
of the concession stand we have now. They asked Phil to convey that to Tim.
Under new business, Larry Thomas mentioned that he, the mayor and Debbie
Quinn were meeting next Tuesday and that he was sure that the new park would
be discussed. Phil mentioned that he had talked with Cliff Pittman and the new
development that he is hoping to do. That maybe there would be some joint
funds to pave the needed road. Larry will get back with a report at the next
meeting.
There being no further business, meeting was duly adjourned.
There was no July meeting.
