facility to be located off of Greeno Rd near the swimming pool. Eddie said this
building would be located on the north side 25 ft. from the pool. He showed how
the outside of the building was planned, a circular drive coming off of the drive
already there that comes to the swimming pool. The inside with a smaller lobby
area with one middle door, have made the restrooms larger, storage larger. He
said that the building would not support a walking track upstairs as the frame is
curved, not straight. He said there would be a track with a curtain in order to
have 2 playing courts. That they had run it by the mayor this morning and
everything okey with him said get opinion of board and if the board liked the
plans we could go out on bids in the next couple of days. He told Jimbo that it
would have a carpeted surface. He said that it will take 12 weeks to get the
building so we are still talking about 3-4 months. Mike asked if the Boys & Girls
Club was ready yet and was told close to being finished. It was noted that they
will not be using the facilities this year so that will free up somewhere to practice
while we are constructing building, also, they should be able to let us use their
facility. Further discussion led to all agreeing plans were good as they were
and Charlie moved that we pass on to Mayor and council our approval of plans.

said he had talked to Terry Knight and he asked why we were requesting this as
they are still in financial straits. He was told that when Eddie Tyler came up he
did not say that they needed a waiver again this year. Terry sent a letter(in file)
requesting that it again be waived for 1996. Further discussion led to a motion
by Charlie Langham to waive the $1500 for one year only. Bob Callahan
seconded and vote was: For motion: Charlie Langham, Bob Callahan(Larry

do with the school. Mike Ford said he still had lease agreement in his office that
we had drawn up before we started working with the colony on this. He said it
definitely would be better to build on our land but we need to proceed.
