The bills were approved as presented on motion by Larry Thomas, seconded
by Rae Jackson and unanimously carried.
Larry reported that he would like to see at the north side of the football
field have a guy wire or chain put up to keep people out, that during
football games people back their trucks up here and drink and the young
people congregate and it would be a much better situation if we closed it
off. Phil agreed with him and said it would be no problem to do this.
The situation at the pool was discussed and it is believed that it is much
better than the problems reported at the last meeting.
Phil reported to the Board the talk he had with Tony Caminiti and their
saying that Thorn Thomas told the softball group they could practice
at Stimpson.
Phil told the Board he had a request
at Stimpson on September 14. Larry
do this as soccer kicks off September

Charlie asked him about the sand spreader. Phil said he had found one
for under $5,000 that would work but it has not gone before the Council
yet. They asked if the Council had discussed the building yet for
storage of equipment and Phil said no.
Phil reported some work they had been doing out at Volanta and the board
talked about different things they would like to see done. Larry said he
would like Robert to put the soccer goals at Stimpson the week of September 1
not before. Phil said that would work out fine.
Phil reported he had met with the health department at the stadium and we
had to put in a double sink and we would be in compliance. The board
told him to go ahead with what we needed. A new set of stencils for marking
the football field was discussed and Phil was asked to look at ones we have
to see if we could use them one more year.
The board discussed the recent option made on the Hjellum property and all
thought it would be a good idea to secure this land.
There being no further business, meeting was duly adjourned.
