The Recreation Board saw no problems with this either. They discussed the placement of buildings and size of slab and washing area. Phil reported that we were talking about six weeks completion date on buildings. That the fill is ready now they can begin to put in the slab. The board talked about color of buildings and beige was what we wished to order. Phil reported that Geoff Jimenez had requested to transfer to the Street Department since a vacancy had occurred and that our other Recreation employee, Melvin Shepherd, had to be fired since he no longer had a driver's license. He discussed with the Board the possibility of paying a little more money since this happens every time we get a good employee, they either transfer or leave the city, that maybe a little more money would be an incentive to stay with the recreation department. After further discussion Stanley Fant moved to give Phil the authority to do what ever is necessary to hire someone who he thinks will stay. Al Johnson seconded and motion carried unanimously. There being no further business, meeting was duly adjourned.
