at the Police Station at 7:30 p.m.
Present: Chain, Barney Shull; members Roy Lloyd
Don Smith, Al Johnson, Facilities Director Phil Rutherford
and Eddie Nelson Programs Director came in late.
The transfer of the workers from the Recreation Department to the
Street Department was discussed, finally being decided to be
effective November 1, 1983.
The bills were discussed and approved on motion by Al Johnson, seconded
by Don Smith and unanimously carried.
The minutes were approved as written on motion unanimously carried.
The Board discussed the upcoming Fairhope/Murphy game and haw best
to arrange seating for the crowd expected. Along this line the P.A.
system was discussed and the fact that we needed to get it fixed.
Eddie said that Grady Patrick had told him to get the City to fix
it and bill the school.
The use of the track by the Port City Pacers was discussed and if
there is not 12 people there to run the lights will not be turned on.
This being the consensus of all the members.
The budget was discussed and adopted at this time, a copy attached to
minutes.
There being no further business, meeting was duly adjourned.
