on rules for the associations patronizing the different fields the
city has. It was to decided to hold a workshop March 13, 1979 at
7:00 p.m. to discuss further this matter.
A discussion was held on the progress of the Stirnpson Field
work. Because of the bad weather, the work has not been completed.
A mid -summer use date was quoted on when .the work might be completed.
The pool table that Mr. Patterson had bequested to the Adult Recrea-

it should be moved to the Adult Recreation Center to be used by them when
they so desired, and not stored somewhere else .
Barney presented a letter of agreement that he wished to
be put on file with the Tennis Director setting out his duties.
Ed Nelson brought out that he wished to know if there was
any money available for lighting at the baseball field. There
followed discussion of the present lights and how they had been
positioned and repositioned at the request of the different
organizations using the field. Phil R. told Ed he thought we
had some lights stored that we could install there to help
remedy the situation. Ed Nelson moved in the form of a motion
to used these lights available, Don Smith seconded and it carried
unanimously.
Ed also brought up the possibility of using concrete in
the dugout at the baseball field. Phil once again told him of
the different things they had tried to use, gravel, asphalt, etc.
and he thought the concrete would wear out the cletes. Ed put
in the form of a motion getting two yards of concrete at a price
not to exceed $80.00, Don Smith seconded, and motion carried unan-
imously.
A discussion followed on a replacement for the Recreation
Board created by Ms. Montgomery moving to Colorado. Jimmye
Smi.therman and Alton Johnson were discussed as being capable and
willing to accept a Board appointment. These two names will be
forwarded to the City Council for their consideration.
