The Fairhope Park and Recreation Board met in regular ses-
sion Wednesday, January 16, 1974 at 7:30 P.M., at the City
Administration Building in Fairhope with the following present:
Chairman Barney Shull, members Jack Stipes and Charlie Gravat.
Director W. C. Majors was also present. Members Dr. Johnson
and David Stapleton being absent.
Guests: Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Ljndpey.
Mr. Stipes moved to approve minutes of last regular meeting.
Motion seconded by Mr. Gravat, carried.
Motion by Mr. Gravat to approve bills for payment, seconded
by Mr. Stipes, carried.
Motion made, seconded and carried to authorize Little League
$72.26 for Mobile Pop -Corn Company.
Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey presented their report to the Board,
which is made a part of the minutes. Board commended Mr.
and Mrs. Lindsey for a fine job.
Mr. Gravat moved to allow $300.00 toward officials in
Babe Ruth baseball.
Mr. Stipes moved bills not be paid for Little League unless
authorized by Board. Motion seconded by Mr.'Gravat, carried.
Motion made and seconded to authorize Director Majors to
order a swimming board for the Greeno Park pool.
There being no further business to come before the board,
upon motion and seconded, meeting adjourned.
Next regular meeting to be February 20, 19?4 at the Adult
Tourist Recreation Center.
