FAIRHOPE PARK AND RECREATION BOARD The Fairhope Park and Recreation Board met in regular ses- sion Wednesday, October 17, 1973 at 7:30 P.M., at the City Administration Building with the following present: Chairman Barney Shull, members: Jack Stipes, David Stapleton, Dr. Johnson and Charles Gravat. Director W. C. Majors was also in attendance. Motion by Dr. Johnson, seconded by Mr. Gravat to approve minutes as recorded. Motion carried. Motion by Dr,. Johnson, seconded by Mr. Stipes to approve bills for payment. Motion carried. Municipal Tennis Courts discussed. Mr. Gravat moved to raise Mr. Threhkled from $50.00 per month to $75.00 per month annually, with the stipulation that he fill in in other areas when tennis is slack. Dr. Johnson seconded, motion carried. Mr. Gravat moved to allow .the Adult Tourist group $2,400 for their annual budget, with same to be paid as in pre- vious years. Motion seconded by Dr. Johnson, carried unanimously. It was brought to the attention of the Board that The Fairhope Emblem Club will hold a dinner and the proceeds to go toward the stadium.
