The Park and Recreation Board met in regular session Wednesday
September 19, 1973 a; 7:30 P.M., at the City Administration
Building with the following present:
Chairman Barney L. Shull, members Dr. R. H. Johnson; Mr. Jack
Stipes and Mr. Charles Gravat.
Absent: Member David Stapleton.
Minutes of previous meeting approved as written.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Lindsey presented their annual report
to the Board, which report is made a part of the minutes.
They also presented their budget for the 19 3-74 Season
wit.h'.the Board approving same. The Adult Recreation Center
suggested to the Board that they hold a turkey dinner in
November, with the proceeds going toward the Football Sta-
dium Fund.
Chairman Shull advised the Board that the Council had ap-
proved the advance from the Electeric Fund.
After discussion of the 1973-74 Recreation Board Budget,
motion was made by Jack Stipes, seconded by Charlie Gravat
to present the budget to the Council with the objective to
hold equipment expenditures to a minimun.
There being no further business to come before the Board,
meeting adjourned.
