Home My WebLink About01-10-1973 Regular MeetingTHE FAIRHOPE PARK AND RECREATION BOARD The Fairhope Park and Recreation Board met Wednesday, January 10, 1973 at 7:30 P.M., at the City Administration Building in Fairhope, Alabama. Present: Chairman Shull, members: Stapleton, Gravat, Stipes. Absent: Dr. R. H. Johnson. Minutes of previous meeting approved as read. Motion made, seconded and carried to pay bills. Chairman Shull presented a detailed explea nation to new mem- bers of Board and outlined budget which s approved at meet- ing of November 15, 1972. Motion by Mr. Stapleton, seconded by Mr. Gravat to appoint Mr. W. C. Majors as Co-ordinato.r of all recreational areas at a pay rate of $200.00 per month. Motion carried unanimous- ly. A five year program is being set up with each Board member directing their particular area of recreation which will be assigned to them at the next regular meeting. There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion, seconded and carried, meeting adjourned. NExt regular meeting will be Februdry 14, 19 3 at 7:30 P.M.
