The minutes of the December meeting were duly approved as written(there was no January meeting due to a lack of a quorum). A financial report was given. The chairman reported that the recent project at the airport was complete except for doing the necessary paperwork. We had received a letter asking for a few little changes in the ALP which we had submitted and Barge, Waggoner is suppose to be taking care of that. She reported that Barge - Waggoner went into an overrun of 6% but they are filing with the FAA and we will eventually get that back, that they are filing for 5% from the State also. She reported that the state survey (correspondence in files) was suppose to start February 1, 1996 but so far no contacts have been made. Teledyne is in and we are receiving money for rent. It was reported that we still have little problems with roof leaks but we are still trying to find them and are working with them. She said Teledyne reported some problems after last bad rain and they had an engineer look at putting in a sump pump, some piping to help alleviate the problems and asked if we minded, Sue told them no. Also, that we are close to taking the old tanks out. She said the freeze did a little damage to the fuel farm, that some support concrete is cracking. That it has been reported that there are dirt bikers causing some problems but we have posted signs and supposedly the police are handling it. Bill Payne mentioned that we already have a washout close to the new paving. He was aksed to get with Phil Rutherford and see if he would look at it. Sue said business is picking up, more business jets and selling more gas. The settlement on the Cl ark case was discussed. Sue reported that she, Tut, and Mayor Nix met with Clark's lawyers. She said that he is suppose to keep his note current, that it will stay in effect and the original amount was around 90,000 but there is a big balloon payment. That he is supposed to be paying $1100 around the Ist of each month. A bill for $27.50 from Tut Wynne was approved for payment on motion by Bill Payne, seconded by Jeanette Puckett and unanimously carried. Sue reported that she had a conversation with someone who wishes to come in and build a private hangar, have a charter service with 3-5 aircraft. That in our airport plan we have a spot reserved for a 2nd FBO and this would come under that category. Andy questioned whether or not this building would come back to the city if they decide to get out of it. Sue said they could not sublease without coming to us, that she did not know for sure if we could 4et reversionary clause but they indicated they were not interested in this. Pv'- She also reported that she had been approached by the county commission about the commuter plane landing in Fairhope and said we would like that. There being no further business, meeting was duly adjourned.
