The minutes of the August 14, 1995 meeting were approved as written.
A letter had been received(in file) from Barge, Waggoner saying the
project is mostly complete. The members questioned the road as all
were aware that it had been damaged during the construction. It
is supposed to be repaired back to its normal condition. Mike said
he would talk with the Mayor after the meeting and see what he has
to say about this. The parking spaces that have been put in were
discussed and the seeding of the hill.
It was determined that we are still waiting for a court case date on
Clark matter. Nothing new to report at this time.
Teledyne project was talked about. The secretary reported she had
talked with Bing Miller several times and the City trying to help them
get going. That he had picked up a copy of old lease agreement and
is going to try and incorporate it in their plans for leasing the facilities.
Under old business, Mike brought up the possibility of naming the
airport after Mayor Nix. He said he did not even want to propose this
if anyone thought it would not be right. It was suggested we might
want to look into what FAA requires talk further about this.
There being no further business, meeting was duly adjourned.
