The Fairhope Park and Recreation Board met Wednesday, September
10, 1969 at 7:30 P.m., at City Hall with the following present:
Chairman Shull, members: Chatwood, Burton, Johnson and directors
Majors and Lowery. Absent: member Stapleton.
Mr. Burton moved to approve minutes of last regular meeting,
Mr. Chatwood, seconded, motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Chatwood moved to pay bills, Mr. Burton seconded, motion car-
ried.
It was unanomously agreed by board that Mr. Otis Walker be in
charge of concession at ball field, one third of profit to revert
to Recreation Board. This will also be effective during midget
games.
Mr. Shull reported that tennis courts will be presented to City
Council for thbir-approval at their regular meeting on the 22nd
of %koR September.
A basketball program was discussed, tabled for further study.
Mr. Burton moved tp pay Barry Pennington $100.00 on November 1st
for being responsible for officials for football program. His
duties will be to see that each team has its respectibe officials
when needed. Mr. Chatwood seconded, motion carried unanimously.
