HomeMy WebLinkAbout10-09-1968 Regular MeetingFAIRHOPE PARK AND RECREATION BOARD The Fairhope Park and Recreation Board met Wednesday, October 9; 1968 at 7:30 P.M. at City Hall; The following being present: Chairman Shull, members Stipes, Johnson, Burton and Chatwood. Directors Lowery and majors. Mr. Burton moved to approve minutes as submitted, Dr. Johnson seconded, motion carried. Dr. Johnson moved to approve bills, mr: Burton seconded, motion carried. Chairman Shull presented Board with budget for coming year. After discussion, Mr. Stipes moved to adopt budget as set out. Mr. Chatwood seconded, motion carried. / Mr. Burton moved to pay secretary $15.00 per month. Mr. Chatwood seconded, motion carried. mr• Stipes moved to allow $250.00 for Elbow Room Halloween dance and $125.00 for Young Street Recreation Halloween Party. Mr. Burton seconded, motion carried. Golf course discussed, plans will continue as originally set out. Chairman Shull announced that he would attend next regular council meeting in regards to future plans of Recreation Board.
