Present: Chairman Shull, Members: Chatwood, Stipes, Burton Absent: Dr, Johnson Guests: Mrs. Welker, Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay, Mr. Waterson, Mayor Macon, Coach Majors, and Coach Lowery. Motion by Mr. Chatwood, seconded by Mr. Stipes, that the minutes be approved as recorded. Motion carried. Financial statement was discussed. Motion by Mr. Chatwood, seconded by Mr. Stipes, that the bills be approved pending approval of the City Council. Carried, Mrs. Welker, representing the Adult and Tourist Recreation Program, reported on their annual financial statement. Mrs. Lindsay discussed the Adult Arts and Crafts account and activities of the past year. Motion by Mr. Burton, seconded by Mr. Stipes that $125.00 per month for a period of 4 months (June - Sept..1 be allocated for Mrs. Lindsay as assistant director of the Summer Arts and Crafts Program. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Burton, seconded by Mr. Stipes, that Mrs. Anna Woods' salary be set at $500.00 for the 3 months period - the same as approved previously for Mrs. Johnson. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Chatwood that #150,00 be allocated for supplies needed in the Creative Arts Program, Mr. Burton seconded. Carried. Motion by Mr. .Chatwood, seconded by Mr. Burton, that Mr. Frank Kerns be given a salary of #100,00 for 2 weeks work in the Summer Program., Carried. The following sealed bids were submitted for electric lights on the Little League and Babe Ruth ball fields Hill-Soberg...... ...$ 14228.09 Moore -Handley....... 14:325,60 General Electric Co. 10,538.60 Motion by Mr. Stipes, seconded by Mr. Chatwood, that the low bid of General Electric Company in the amount of $10,538.60 for electric lights on Little League and Babe Ruth ball field be accepted as submitted. Combine information for all areas you administer in a county. Forms are to be completed by each agency administering recreation areas under your juris- diction. For example, a State would include a State park department but would not include a Federal or county park department. If you have any questions, phone the appropriate Bureau of Outdoor Recreation (BOR) Regional Office listed below. Return one copy of each form completed, to the appropriate BOR Regional Office. Educational institutions —Do not include information on schools, colleges, or universities on this form. Do not send this form to any educational institution or administration under your jurisdiction. (Educational institutions are being sampled separately by the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation.) County agencies and departments —Report names and addresses, in the space below, for any other agencies or departments under the county's jurisdiction which administer outdoor recreation lands or facilities.
