Members present: Mr. Poser, Wakefield, Cotten and Bailey.
Absent: None.
Guests: Mr. Niemeyer, Anderson, Kirk, Macon, Stipes and Stine.
Minutes of November 16 meeting were read. Mr. Wakefield moved,
Mr. Cotten seconded, that the minutes be approved. Carried.
Mr. Poser presented a request from Organic School for equipment.
Mr. Anderson agreed to get a cost estimate of this equipment and
to check with the other schools concerning their equipment needs.
Mr. Poser suggested that the Recreation Board request the City
to proceed with the Little League Ballfield. No action taken.
A general discussion of the duties and powers of the Recreation
Board followed.
Mr. Bailey moved that the Recreation Board request the City
Council to define the duty, function and authority of the Recrea-
tion Board considering the original Resolution that established
the Board and also considering the interpretation of the opinion
