Absent: None, Guests: Anderson, Byrne, Bateman. Minutes of June 12 meeting were read and approved. OLD BUSINESS: Mr. Schneider recommended that bleachers be moved to the Little League and Babe Ruth diamonds as soon as possible: Mr. Byrne reported that insurance for the Babe Ruth and Little League teams had been taken care of., NEW BUSINESS: Mr. Anderson gave a progress report of the Summer Program and recommended that The Sportsman's Store bill be paid.- Mr Bailey moved, Mr. Cotten seconded to give a trophy to Babe Ruth ;!a Little League team winners. Carried. /,,Nlr. Poser reported on water and sanitary facilities at Young Street field 1 as put before th City Council. Mr. Bailey expressed his feeling that plans continue as Recreation Center on the park property. Mr. Wakefield seconded. Carried. Mr Poser agreed to procure sealed bids on fencing for swimming pool and surrounding areas. Mr. Bailey moved to proceed with plans and specifications on structures necessary to house restrooms and dressing room facilities as required. Motion carried.
