HomeMy WebLinkAbout07-12-1993 Regular MeetingThe Airport Board of the City of Fairhope met Monday, July 12, 1993 at 8:00 A.M. at the City Administration Building, 161 N. Section Street. Present: Chairman, Sue Mason; members Robert Coiling, Khim Vera, Bill Payne The minutes of the last meeting were duly approved as written and a financial report was given. Mrs. Mason reported that we had received a check from the movie company for repair on the hangar and the bids have been sent out. That everything is moving along smoothly. She reported that she had talked to Mr. Clark recently and that his situation at the airport is improving a little bit, things starting to pick up. She also reported that she had been out to the airport with an FBI agent looking into Mr. Duncan's past dealings. The hazardous waste tanks have been removed and that situation has been resolved. She said in the future we would be using a dry chemical when stripping airplanes so we won't have that to face again. That corporate flying is still down due to economy. She reported that we are in a go position if/when money comes available from F.A.A., our engineer is ready. Mr. Tranchina, who asked to be present to make presentation, requested to be heard at August meeting. There being no further business, meeting was duly adjourned.
