Administration Building, 161 N. Section Street at 5:00 PM.
Present: Chairman Larry Green, members Cecil Pitman, James P. Nix, Richard
Sanderson, Cindy McBrearty, William Richmond, David Bishop. Betty Rivenbark
Secretary and Bob Lunsford Zoning Enforcement Officer
The minutes of the November 4, 1996 meeting were duly approved as written on
motion by Richard Sanderson, seconded by Cindy McBrearty and unanimously
carried.
Stillwood - Unit 2 Final Plat Approval was being sought by Point Clear
Investments on 27 lots west of County Rd 3 and north of County Rd 32. Bob's
comments were asked for and he said that he had a letter of credit in hand
guaranteeing installation of sewage lift station and conveyance of lot to the city
as well as complete installation and testing of all sewer lines and appurtenances
and since his notes made that the curb and gutter in place, That this will be
privately maintained streets, noted on the plat, with city water and sewer
service. That conditional approval was given on February 5, 1996. He
recommended approval be given. Mr. Green called for any comments from the
commission members or audience, there were none. Cecil Pitman moved to
grant final plat approval, Richard Sanderson seconded and motion carried
unanimously.
Fairfield Place- Unit 2 An application of Fairfield Investments for Final Plat
Approval, 32 lots on the north side of Cty Rd 44, 240 feet west of Cty Rd 13,
outside the city. Bob commented this had received preliminary approval at the
May 6, 1996 meeting. Bob said he had letter of credit guaranteeing completion
of utilities and that they appear to be complete except for final testing and
acceptance of the lift station. That plat and plans appear to be in order and he
recommended approval. Mr. Green called for comments, there were none.
James P. Nix moved for approval based on Bob's recommendations, David
Bishop seconded and motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business, meeting was duly adjourned.
