HomeMy WebLinkAbout03-02-1992 Planning Commission MinutesM E M O R A N D U M TO: Fairhope Planning Commission Meeting of 02 MARCH 1992 (cont'd to 3/16/92 LOQ) DE VERE ACRES SUBDIVISION - Application for Preliminary Plat Approval, Cecil and Arden Ward for 20 Lots in Unit One. I find that the plans as submitted fail to conform to the requirements of the Subdivision Regulations as follows: 1. Plat is not signed or acknowledged 2. Lea Circle cul-de-sac is longer than the prescribed maximum of 600 feet. 3. The plans fail to indicate curb and gutter as required. 4. Easements delineated on the south and east sides .of Unit One do not meet the minimum requirement of 15 foot width. 5. Gate valve not shown at 6" water connection to existing 8" water main. Absent waiver/s by Commission, I recommend that approval be withheld pending correction of items above. SILVERWOOD - UNIT ONE - Application of Rogers & White for Final Plat Approval, 27 lots on Silverwood Drive, subject to financial guaranty for improvements. Approval is recommended subject to the following items: 1. Financial guaranty in form and amount acceptable to the City Council 2. All required signatures appearing upon plat 3. Providing a cul-de-sac on Silverwood Drive at approximately 600 feet from County Road 27 4. Address for Rogers and White, Inc. appearing upon plat 5.
