November 19, 1990 at 5:30 p.m. at the City Administration Building, 161 N.
Section Street.
Present: Chairman Richard Sanderson; members Tim Kant
Cindy McBrearty, William Lucey, Maxwell Killoch
Bob Lunsford, Zoning Enforcement Officer and Betty
Rivenbark, Secretary were also present
The special meeting was called tonight to reconsider The Cottages a re-subdivisil
that was approved at the last regular meeting of the Commission. At that time
approval was given to adding 2 ft to one lot and it was reported that this had
not been recorded yet. Mr. Lunsford had had a call from Mr. Earle who wished
to change footage again and he told him it would not be possible without
Commission's consideration. This subdivision is located off of Greeno Road
by Autumn Park. The request at the last meeting was to divide Lot 4 and Lot 8
into 4 lots each but now they do not wish to divide Lot 8. Mr. Lunsford said
he has no problem with what is being asked and recommended approval.
Mr. Earle spoke to the Commision relating the reasons for his request. A
motion was made by William Lucey to approve as requested, Maxwell Killoch
seconded and motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Lunsford brought to the Commision's attention that at the last meeting
Dove Acres, property owned by Virginia Cumbie at 19814 County Road 27
was approved dividing one lot into two. Since that time it has been discovered
that there is a five foot reservation strip established on the north and south
side of Quail Creek Drive that was dedicated. Therefore the proposed lot 2
does not have an existing street frontage for access. Mr. Lunsford had notified
Mr. Seth Moore of Moore Engineering but he has not been able to get in touch
with Ms. Cumbie the landowner. It is Mr. Lunsford's recommendation that
this approval be voided. William Lucey moved to void action dividing into
two lots. Tim Kant seconded and motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business, meeting was duly adjourned.
