meeting to consider the redrm n plans of Wesley Stapleton for a welding
shop belonging to Ray Palmer,property located at 504 Fairhope Avenue.

Those members present: Cecil Pitman, Leona Newman, Ted Bennett
Jack Stipes, Pierce Frederick, James P. Nix, E. Jack Kirk
Mr. Stapleton showed Ihis plat to the members and explained that he had
found out that he had a lot more room to work with as the lot had never
been subdivided as he was led to believe. This had been considered at the
January 7, 1980 meeting and Mr. Stapleton was asked to redraw his plans
as several of the ordinance requirements were not met.
The new plat showed 10 spaces along the E side of the building with 37ft.
in the back of the building. He had a landscaped area in the front of
building, customers could tin around in the back and Mr. Palmer had agreed
to brick the front of the building. Mr. Nix moved to grant a building permit
providing the parking spaces 1 & 2 be pushed back allowing a larger grassed
area. Jack Kirk seconded and motion carried unanimously
There being no further business, meeting was duly adjourned.
