Fairhope Planning and Zoning Commission
Regular and. Public Meeting 1Monda,y, Jan. 17,-'1972

Present: Members Bung, Gates, Macon, Kirk, Box, Pitman
Absent: Chairman Park'er, members Arnold, Frederick
Visitors: F. Laraway, L. Smith, J. Pope, M. Ford, H. Stearns,
R. George
In absence of chairman, Mr. Bung presided.
Minutes of previous meeting approved as read.
Secretary instructed in future to send copy of minutes to each
member prior to meeting, thus dispensing with reading of same.
Since this was the date advertised for public hearing on revi-
sion of subdivision regulations, the chair opened the meeting for
general discussion. Following discussion, Mr. Macon moved for the
adoption of the following resolution:
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Fairhope, �
Fairhope, Alabama is desirious of revising its subdivision regu-
lations, and
WHEREAS, a complete revision of the subdivision regulations
of Fairhope,Alabama (, a part of the comprehensive city plan)
has been prepared and approved by the Planning Commission of Fair-
hope,Alabama, and.
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the revised subdivision.
regulations of Fairhope, Alabama( a part of the comprehensive
city plan,) be, and the same are hereby adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy shall be certified by
the Commission to Probate Judge of Baldwin County, Alabama.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the revised subdivision regu-
lations take effect upon its adoption and publication as re-
quired by law.
ADOPTED this the 17th day of January, 1972
