Visitors : Mr. Ed Niemeyer, 0.0, Stewart, Earl Forsman, E.G.
Rickarby, Carlton Niemeyer, George Dyson, Robert Bateman
Minutes of previous meeting approved as read.
01d Business
Subdivision of Plot B of Ed Niemeyer's leasehold. M tion
by Mr. Parker, seconded by Mr. GAtes, that preliminaPy appro-
val be given to Subdivision of Ed. Niemeyer's Plot B con-
tingen pon drawing being revised to show(1) set back lines,
(2)lis ing of names of adjacent property owners, (3) reloca-
tion of cul-d.e-sac so that fifty foot chord of cul-de-sac
coincided with the north property line; and. that also s letter
of approval be obtained from the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation.
Motion carried.
Carlton Niemeyer presented plat of Niemeyer- Deese subdivi-
sion " Marca Lane" for final approval. Motion by Mr. Pitman,
seconded by Mr. Parker, that final approval be given "Marca
Lane" subdivision. Motion carried..
New Business
Mr. Earl Forsman, realator, and. his attorney, Mr. Rickarby,
appeared before the Commission seeking advice on opening of
streets to,:lots 15 and 160 Fairhope Colored Subdivision and
lot 4, block 2, Coleman Suburban Homes. Mr. Rickarby stated
that the north -south street for which he had dedications had
houses built in the right of way; Mr. Bateman stated that he
had in his files dedications for an east- west street. It was
agreed that Mr. Rickarby and. Mr. Bateman would work together
on this.
Application of Charles Earle, Jr. to rezone from R-2 to B-1
lots 20 and 21, block 16, located on north Section street.
M tion by Mr. Gates, seconded by Mr. Pitman, that the above
application be accepted for advertising for public hearing at
the next regular meeting. Motion carried.
