Visitors Mr. Bateman, Dyson, Troup, Earle, Steadham, Thomas,
Mrs. Hutter, Mrs. Shepherd, Mr. & Mrs. Bonnell
Minutes of previous meeting approved as read.
Old Business
High Ridge Estate Subdivision of Paul and "Ellen Bonnell
Motion by Mr. Macon, seconded by Mr. Arnold that final appro-
val be given High Ridge Estate Subdivision subject to fulfill-
ment of r&ad surfacing contract. Motion carried.
Application of Alice Dale to rezone from R-1 to B-2 the follow-
ofParker Road and New Highway 98, in the
Police Jurisdiction.
No opposition was present. Mrs. Shepherd, Mr. and Mrs. Bonnell
were interested adjacent property owners in attendance.
Application of A. L. Hutter to- rezone from R-1 to R-3 the follow-

less, on Murphy Avenue in the Police Jurisdiction.
Mr. Steadham, adjacent property owner requested information on
purpose of rezoning; upon being informed stated he had no special
objection to trailer parks.
11 Mr. roup returned in regards to use of property on S. Bay-
,w view of his home; was of the opinion that Mr. McKean's letter
of Sept. 6, 1968 claiming non conforming use on this land for a
number of years`did not cover the Heathershaw property but only
the Colony property being used by Thomas- Corte Pontiac Co. Mr.
Thomas stated the property was leased with the understanding
that all had been used previouly commercially. Following general
discussion in which it was noted that this Commission had advisory
power only,'the chairman stated that he would take this matter
cinder advisment and would inform Mr. Truop , by letter, of the
decision of the Commission within a few days.
Motion by Mr. Arnold, seconded by Mr. Pitman, that the Planning C
Commission recommend to the City Council the rezoning from R-1
to R-3 the property described in the application of A. L. Hutter.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Pitman, seconded by Mr. Arnold, that the Planning
Commission recommend to the City Council from the application of
Alice Dale the rezon&ng from R-1 to B-2 only the South two(2)
acres at the Northeast intersection of Hwy. 98 and Parker Road.

cribed; thence run north 89041 ' 50" east 253.37 ft. to the point
of beginning, containing 2 acres. Motion carried

The members examined forms distributed by Mr. Bateman including Raffip
Proposed Amendment to the, -Zoning Ordinance Section 68 Parking,
Application for Subdivision Plat Approval, Application for Change
in Zoning, Procedure for Rezoning, Check List for Preliminary
Subdivision Plat Approval, Check List for Final Subdivision Plat
Approval.. No action was taken.
There being no further business meeting adjourned.
