Regular meeting- onday Oct. 691969

Present: Chmn. Frederick, members Parker, Gates, Box, Kirk, Arnold.
Absent: Member Macon Batman, Bung
Visitors: Ars. Hutter, Mrs, Thomas, Mr. Troup, Mr. Dyson, Mr. Bateman.
Mr. Box was welcomed as coumcil member replacing Mr. Bishop
Minutes of Aug. %, 1969 meeting were approved as read.
Report of unofficial meeting of Sept. 8, 1969 read and placed on file.
Old Business:
Mr. Troup appeared concerning alleged violation of zoning ordinance
on rear of property occupied by Thomas- Corte Pontiac Co, Mr. Troup
stated the rear lot of approximate 193 ft. fronting on S. BayView,
owned by Heathershaw Estate, is zoned residential but jtx is being
put to a commercial use. A letter of Sept. 8, 1969 on this subject
was read and placed on file.
Motion by Mr. Arnold, seconded by Mr. Parker, that the Commission
instruct the building inspector to check the usage of the property
in question for violation of the zoning ordinance and report to
the next meeting. Motion carried.
Mr. Arnold, engineer forHlgh Ridge Estate, reported that the owner
Mr. Bonnell, had agreed to blacktop his street.
New Business
Mrs. Thomas, agent, presented plat of resubdivision of Lot 1, Blockll.
Division 1, lands of the Single Tax Corporation, Inc.- Stenzel- Herrick
property on the southeast corner of Fairhope Ave. and Summit Street.
Mr. Bateman noted several defiencies in the plat as listed in his
letter of Oct. 8, 1968 Motion by Mr. Bung,seconded by Mr. Pitman
that the Commission grant preliminary and final approval to the above
subdivision subject to correcting plat in compliance with the Sub-
division Regulations. Motion carried.
Mrs.._A.L. Hutterpresente�application for rezoning from R-1 to R-3
Motion by Mr. Pitman, seconded by Mr. Arnold that the Commisst&n
acceptthe above application for advertisinf for public hearing at
the next regular meeting. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Arnold, seconded by Mr. Gates, that the above application
be accepted for advertisingx&txtknxxax for public hearing at the next
regular meeting. Motion carried.
Mr. Arnold presented replat of lots 18 and 19, block 9, d6vision
1, lands of the Single Tax Corp. Inc..- Call- Lloyd Subdivision.
located on N. BayView and Magnolia Ave, for preliminary and final
approval. Motion by Mr. PitrAam, seconded by Mr. Gates that prelim-
inary and ftknal approval be given the Call- Lloyd Subdivision
replat of leasehold. Motion carried.
