The Fairhope Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session
016-n—day,_January�6,_1969 at 5:00 P`.M., at The City Hall.
Present: Chrairman Frederick, members Macon, Pitman, Bishop, Bagnell
Arnold, Bung, Kirk.
Absent: Member Gates.
Visitors, Mr. Foreman, Bateman, Rickarby and Dyson.
Minutes of previous meeting approved as read.

Old business: Final approval of subdivision of E. C. Niemeyer.
Approval of one undersized lot in this subdivision having been
given by Beard of Zoning, Adjustments and Appealp -Aotion by Mr.
Bung, seconded by Mr. Arnold that final approval be given Niemeyer'
Subdivision after addition to plat of certificates of ownership,
and of acceptance and approval by Planning Commission. Motion ca
ried.
New Business: Request of W. P. Wyllie to rezone from R-1 to R-39
property located on Highway 9*8-Trf `ponce jurisdiction [described as
follows:
Motion by M'r. Macon, seconded by Mr. Arnold that the Fairhope Pla
ning'and Zoning Commission recommend to the City Council that the
W. P. Wylli's property be rezoned from R-1 to R-3 as requested.
Motion carried.
Request of B. A. Forsman to rezone from R-2 to R-3 lots 15 and 16
of Fairhopelcolored subdivision and lot No. 4 in block 2 of Cole-
man Suburban Homes all being in the Northeast of Section 20, TS
6 S, R 2 E. Motion by Mr. Arnold, seconded by Mr. Pitman that the
rezoning application of B. A. Foresman be accepted for advertising
for public hearing on Feb. 3rd. Motion carried.
Mr. Batemanlsuggested that the City Map 4w this area with all avai

able utilities, proposed and needed utilities, easements, streets
platted and in use with encroachments on same, also streets proposed.

Comprehensive planning was discussed; Mr. Bateman was instructed
to bring comprehensive planning program to next meeting.
Application of Dr. C. G. Godard to resubdivide parts of lots 3,4,5,
6 and ?, ,Bl. 4, Airy Hgts.
Motion by' Mr. Pitman seconded by Mr. Macon that the Commission gran
preliminary and final approval to this resubdivision. motion carrie
There being no further business, meeting adjourned.
