FAIRHOPE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
Regular Meeting; Monday, May 1, 1967 /
5:00 p.m., City Hall
Present: Chairman Frederick, members Gates, Bagnell, Bung, Arnold,
Niemeyer and Macon.
Absent: Members Pitman and Spader.
Visitors: Mrs. Mossholder, Mr. Dyson, Mr. Ford.
Minutes of previous meeting approved as read.
Old Business4:
Mr. Gates resubmitted plat of Fairhaven #1 to a examined and dis-
cussed. Mr.lMossholder recommended that when final approval all
steps in Section H, Art. II Subbivision Regulations Final Plat
Approval must be taken: He requested that Mr. Gates, the subdivi-
der submit copy of plat to the Planning Consultant who will, after

study,iwrite subdivider letter detailing criticisms and recom-
mendations.
New Business:
Mike Ford appeared before the Commission concerning a group of
duplex apartments to be located on property in police jurisdiction
presently zoned R-1. He was advised to meet with planning con-
sultant to work up proper application and was promised all coopera-
tion from Commission.
Dr. A. G. Dacovich submitted application resubdivision of two lots
on North Bay'View Ave., action was tabled until next meeting since
application was not received in time for pre -meeting review by Plan-
ning Consultant.
Thomas H. Brown submitted application to rezone from 8-2 to R-3 that

Motion by Mr. Macon, seconded by Mr. Arnold that the Fairhope
Planning and:Zoning Commission accept for advertising for public
meeting on June 5, 1967 the rezoning applications of Thomas H.
Brown. Motion carried.
There being no further business, meeting adjourned.
