Re Dar and Public meeting
Monday, march 6, 1967, 5:00 p.m.
Present: Chairman Fredericks, members Pitman, Macon, Niemeyer,
Bagnell, Bung.
Absent: Members Arnold, Spader and Gates.
Minwtes of previous meeting approved as read.
Old Business: Application of George Fowler to rezone from R-1 to
M-1, the following described land:
PARCEL 1:
From the Southwest corner of Section 16,
Township 6 South, Range 2 East, run East 250 feet
to a railroad spike; thence run North 15 feet to
the Nor th side of Nichols Street; the POINT OF
BEGINNING;
Thence continue North 350 feet to a 3/4"
Copper Pipe; thence run East 150 feet to a well point;
thence run South 350 feet to the North side of said
Nichols Street; thence run Guest along the North side
of Nichols Street, 150 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,
Parcel contains 1.2 acres more or less, and lies in
the SWJ of Section 16, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Ala.
PARCEL 2:
From the southwest corner of Section 16, Town-
ship 6 South, Range 2 East, run East 250 feet to a
railroad spike; thence run North 365 feet to a 3/4
inch copper pipe; THE POINT OF BEGINNING,
Thence run East 150 feet to a well point; thence
run North 298.8 feet to a 2 inch iron pipe; thence
run West 150 feet to a 1i inch iron pipe, the North-
east corner of Jansen Manufacturning Co., thence
run'South 298.7 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, Par-
cel'contains 1.02 acres more or less, and lies in
the SWJ of Section 16, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Ala.
No opposition to rezoning appeared. Motion by Mr. Pitman,
seconded by Mr. Bung that the Fairhope Planning and Zoning
Commission recommended by the City Council the rezoning of
from R-1 to M-1 the above described land. Motion carried.
New Business: Subdivision plat of addition to Deep Tree For-
est, Robert Green owner; action tabled until next meeting.
There being no further business meeting adjourned.
