HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-06-1967 Regular and Public MeetingI Fairhope Planning and Zoning Commission Regular and Public Meeting 01 Monday, February 6, 1967 Present, Chairman Frederick, members Bung, Gates, Arnold, Macon, Spader, Bagnell, Pitman; also Building Inspector, George Dyson. Planning Consultant, Mr. Bateman was not in attendance, having been excused by the Chairman. In absence of secretary, member Pitman served as acting secretary. Minutes of previous regular and special meeting were read and approved. Old Business: The rezoning application of G. Foster McCoy was brought up since appropriate advertising was completed. Supporting the request to rezone from R-2 to M-1, the lot West of his present home were Mr. McCoy, his agent, A. C. Council, and next door neighbor, Will Haas; against, none. Moved by Mr. Bung, seconded by Mr. Gates that the Planning and Zoning Coms" mission recommend that the City Council approved this ap- plication. Motion carried. For legal description of land, refer to application. New Business: Mr. George Fowler made application for rezoning from R- 1 to M-1; parcel #1, (see map), Adjoining Ritz Instru- ment Bldg., to the east. It was moved by Mr. Arnold, secon- ded by Mr..Macon, to advertise this rezoning request and to include iniaddition Parcel #2 (see map). (Fowler Application) in same. rezoning application. Motion carried. New meetinb time was discussed. Motion by Mr. Arnold, secon- ded by Mr. Bung that the meeting time be changed to 5:00 P.M., on same dale, First Monday in each month. Motion carried.
