Regular Meetinq - Friday, November 6, 1964— ,1
4: 00 P. M. - City Hall.
Present: Chairman Woolley, members Frederick, Bagnell,
Gaston, Niemeyer, Macon, Bung.
Absent: Members Spader, Pitman.
Visitors: Mr. Dyson, Yohn, Bateman, Gates, Stipes.
Mr. Niemeyer replaced E. J. Kirk on the board; Mayor
Macon replaced Mayor Schneider.
Committee report: Mr. Frederick had no report on Greeno
Boulevard Committee. Mr. Niemeyer rep l aced Mr. Kirk on
this Committee.
No old business.
NEW BUSINESS*.
Amon Gates presented plat of Fairwood ##11 subdivision
located on Valley Patlynn Drive South of Gayfer St. for
final approval; search of minutes showed that Mr. Nahrgang
first presented plat of this district to the Commission
on April 3, 1964, but no action was taken.
Motion by Mr. Frederick, 2nd by Mr. Bung that preliminary
and final approval be given to Amon Gates subdivision
Fairwood �f# 9 subject to (1) that block numbers be shown
on plat 2 that dimensions from Southeast corner of
Fairwood 8 North to Gayfer St. be given (3) tha� plat
Fairwood #11 be tied in to section corner and (4 that
�rthe name of Valley-Patlynn Drive be charged to Patlynn, -f-��
Drive and the name of Patlynn shown on short street going
east off of Valley-Patlynn be changed to Lesia Drive -
Motion carried unanimously.
Request of Chester Hunt to rezone from R-1 to B-9 200 ft.
fronting on Young Street in the police�,is jy diction
described as followed.,^ 4,� ^� �
Motion by Mr. Macon, seconded by Mr. Bung that the rezoning
application be accepted for advertising for public meeting
when ap lication fee is received by the secretary. Motion
carried unanimously.
There being no further business meeting adjourned.

At the meeting of the Fairhope Planni and
Zonis Commission held Friday, October 2,1964
the following motion was adopted:
"Mot ion by Mr. Fi tman, seconded by Mr. Bun
that the Fairhope Planning and Zoning Commission
write to the new Mayor and Council rocommeending
the continuance of the services of Robert S. Bateman
and Associates as Planning Consultants. Motion
carried unanimously."
The Board feels the need of professional
assistance in Carryyinon its work and has found
the aid given by l-fr. gateman invaluable.

At the meeting of the Board of Adjustment on
Se tember 29, 1964 the following resolution was
adopted:
"BE IT RESOLVED that Cecil Pitman sub-

r® ulationsto lots 6 and , Ridgowood
Estates, Unit 2, located on Ber and t.,
the westward boundary being Adelaide Malone property, the eastward line being
lot 5 of said subdivision.

The following is a motion adopted -October 3, 1964 which
clarifies the Subdivision Regulations:
"If a street has been platted, dedicated and recorded
in the records of the Judge of Probate of Baldwin
County prior to the adoption of the Subdivision Regula-
tions of Fairhope (July 1953) then paving of said
street is not a necessary requirem nt for bdivision
plat approval. The proof of stit5ttZtmj= dedication and
recording shall be the burden of the subdivider".
