Present: Chairman '.looney, Members Gaston, Bagnell, Bung, Dirk, Pitman.
Absent: ;/embers Schneider, Spader, Frederick.
Visitors: Yohn, Bateman, Byrne.
OLD BUSINESS:
Cecil Fitman's Unit 2 Ridgewood Estates
Letter from Zoning Adjustment Board stating that R-2 Zoning regula-
tions would apply to lots 6 and 7, Ridgewood Estates, Unit 2.
Guestion of paving on Bergundy Street fronting on lots 5, 6 & 7, was
discussed.
(lotion by Mr. Bung, second by Mr. Kirk, that the Fairhope Planning and
Zoning Commission adopt as a policy the following resolution:
BE IT RC30LVED that if a street has been platted, dedicated
and recorded in the records of the Judge of Probate of Baldwin County
prior to the adoption of the Subdivision Regulations of Fairhope
(July 1953) then paving of said street is not a necessary requirement
for subdivision plat approval. The proof of street dedication and
recording shall be the burden of the subdivider.
Voting aye: Ba nell, Bung, Kirk, Pitman; Voting nay: none. Gaston
not voting. fio�ion carried.
Access to utilities also discussed; P1r. Pitman stated that he agreed
to lay sewer.
Motion by tfr. Bung, second by Nr. Bagnell that preliminary and final
approval be given to Cecil Pitman's Ridgewood Estates, Unit 2. (Motion
carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Pitman, second by 11r. Bung that the Fairhope Planning
and Zoning Commission write letter to the incoming City Council
recommending the continuance of the services of Robert S. Bateman u
Associates as Planning Consultants. Motion carried unanimously.
