Fairhope Planning and Zoning Commission
Special Meeting - June16, 1964 t
11:30 A. M.
Present: Chairman Woolley, Members Bagnell, Bung, Schneider,
Spader, Kirk, Pitman.
Absent: Members Gaston, Frederick.
Visitors: Mr. Jansen, Dyer, Byrne
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved as read.
Purpose of meeting:
(1) Application of Thomas E. Dyer to rezone from R-1 to M-2 the
following described property:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the East half of
the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of
fractional Section 39, Township 6 South Range 2 East,
run West 208.7 feet, thence run South 268.7 7eet, thence
run East 208.7 feet, thence run North 208.7 feet to the
point of beginning, containing one (1) acre in the
Northeast corner of said 20 acre tract.
(2) Application of Claude A. Jansen to rezone from R-2 to M-1
the following described property:
From the Southwest corner of Section 16, township 6
South, Range 2 East, run North 265 feet and East 40
feet, for point of beginning: thence run North 398.4
feet; thence run East 250 feet; thence run South 398.7
feet; thence run best 250 feet to Beginning. 2.286 acres
in Sec. 16, T6S, R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama.
Motion by Mr. Kirk, seconded by Mr. Bung that the applications of
Thomas E_. Dyer and Claude A. Jansen be acceppted for advertising
for public hearing on July 10, 1964 at 4 P.M. Motion carried
unanimously.
Chairman called attention to fact that Regular monthly meeting
date was postponed from July 3 to July 10, 1964.
There being no other business the meeting adjourned.
