Visitors: 11r. Bateman, Arnold, Nahrgang, Dyson, Yohn, Green. In the absence of Chairman doolley, f-Ir. Byrne served as chairman. The minutes were read and approved as read. OLD RUSINESS: Mr. Byrne reported that he had written the Post Office De�e� instructed but had received no reply to his last letter. Mr. Pitman reported no progress on committee seeking exit from new Post Office location other than onto Highway. NEW BUSINESS: Petition was presented and read from 13 property owners on ( eeno Road requesting rezoning as follows: 1 Robert Green from R-2 to B-2 2 Silverhill Farmers Association from R-2 to B-1 3 J. V. Cummings from R-2 to B-1 4 Robert Stine and John E. Cutts fromR-1 to B-2 5 C. W. Gable from R-2 to B-1 6 Vincent N. Klein from R-2 to B-1 7 .lain Hoffren % Harry Barr from R-2 to H-1 a) Glen lt. Ingersoll from R-1 to 8-1 9 James '. M. i�yer Elsie E. Dyer from R-1 to B-2 10 W. R. Todd from R-1 and R-2 to B-1 11 Calvin vi. Crull from R-2 to B-2 12 Mrs. Thomas B. Montgomerf from R-1 to B-1 13 Corte Realty by A. 7. Corte from R-1 to B-1 Motion by Mr. Pitman seconded by Hr. Bung that the applications for rezoning be accepted and the secretary be instructed to advertise same for public hearing at the next regular meeting. Motion carried unani- mous l y. Mr. h'obert Nahrgang reappeared before the commission in regards to rezonin from R-1 to R-2 an area of Fairwood Subdivision south of Gayfer Street. Notion by Mr. Pitman, seconded by Mr. Bunry that the Fairhope Planning and ?onin- Commission recommend to the City Council the rezoning from R-1 to R-� of this area if Nahrgang will provide a buffer zone of R-1 facing Valley Drive in order to satisfy the adjacent property owners. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Bateman reported progress of Community park committee and stated that a joint meeting of repoesentatives of all civic and service clubs ,will be held at Yacht Club December 11, 1963.
