CIZY HALL Present: Chairman Woolley, members Gaston, Kirk, Poser, Bung, Dy- son, Schneider. Absent: Members Pitman, Frederick. Visitors:"r. Huffman, Ruffles, Billie, G. Dyson, Kamper, Rickarby, Nahrgang, Byrne Boone. Chairman wIlcomed Walter Poser, new member appointed by City Coun- cil upon expiration of term of Willie Nelson. Minutes of previous regular meeting read and approved as read. Old Business: Letter from John Huffman and Walter Poser concerning Community Center Building reread; additional informatirn concerning fitnanc- ing and location in henry George Park replacing the Red Cross building supplied by Mr. Poser. Opposition was voiced to locution. Chairman appointed committee of Mr. Poser, Bung and Dysoib, working with Mr. Bateman, to investigate other possible sites. Chairman Woolley and =ayor Schneider agreed to meet with Eastern, Art Association officials in regards to their letter read to the Commission at meeting of 12/7/62. City Garage Planning Committee reported that Moore Engineering Co.. is working on plans and specifications for garage. W. R. Ruffles presented sketch of proposed planting in compliance with Johnson street rezoning of Material Sales Inc. leasehold. Motion by P,Tr. Dyson, seconded by Mr. Poser, that the sketch of pro- p(Ised planting presented by Material Sales Inc. be accepted as meeting requirements set forth by the Commission at Dec. 7, 1962 meeting. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by "r. Dyson, seconded by bar. Poser, that ltem 4 in the X listed requirements for rezoning of the taterial Sales Inc. lease- hold be amended to read as follows: " 4. No ingress nor egress shall be made to the subject property from Johnson Street except over the existing fifteen foot easement strip." Motion carried unanimously. r#R ew Business: (1)obert R. Nahrgang presented./Piaster Riax Pattern of Streets In airwood and (2) Preliminary Plat of Addition Adjoining Fairwood 3 and Fairwood # 7.otion by ",r. Dyson, seconded by Bung, that preliminary appro- �v_al be given to map of raster Pattern of Streets in Fairwood. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Poser, seconded by i.:r.
