FAIRHOPE PBANNING AND ZONING CORU.RISSICN REGULAR MEETING FRIDAY,
OCT. 51 1962, 4 P.M. CITY HALL
Present: Chairman Woolley, members Pitman, Gaston, Schneider, Kirk,
Frederick, Nelson.
Absent: Members Dyson, Fick. 79'
Visitors: G. Dyson, R. Bateman, F. Bung, Barbara Gocden, E. B. Gwin,
P.J. Byrne, R. Nahrgang, Jr.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Old Business:
No report from the Garage Planiain.g Committee.
Secretary reported that Robert Bateman had signed the plat of the
resubdivision of the Golf Course Subdivision as presented by the
Fairhope Single Tax Colony and xa$x plat was then signed by the
secretary as directed at the previous meeting.
-Secretary tbported that the application of M. Dyson Bldg. Co,
John Duck and Doctors Mullins and Yancey as presented to the Planning
Commission on Sept. 7, 1962 had been withdrawn and presented to the
Board of Zoning Adjustment meeting of Sept. 24, 1962 , which Board
had approved the application.
New Business: proposed
Robert Nahrgang Jr. presented a Master Street ]plan of/Streets in
Fairwood Proper. Moti:,n by Ir. Schneider, seconded by Mr. Nelson,
that Mr. Nahrgang contact Air. Sateman as to prop-r procedure
to follow in this matter. Motion carried unanimo usly.
E. B. Gwin, Chamber of Commerce Chairman of Committee on Down-
town Parking Problem asked for cooperation on this problem.. Follow-
ing general discussion, Mr. tatemet�announced that he would study
the situation and report to the Commission.
Mr. Schneider reported that Mr. 'alone had resigned and that Mr.
Floyd Bung.had been appointed to fill his unexpired term to May
25, 1963. The secretary was instructed to write Mr. Malone a
letter of appreciation gor his services on the Commission.
Next meeting to be public hearing on proposed revisions of Zoning
ordinances and maps o be held Nov. 2, 1962.
