Visitors: Messrs. Harrington, Parker, Macon, Arnold, Warley, Billie,
Ellis and Winter.
inutes waxx of the previous meeting were corrected to read" from
-2 to B-1 for Trampoline Center only and to revert to R-2 if and
when vacated by Trampoline Center" and approved as corrected.
Motion by Mr. Dyson, seconded by Mr. Kirk that the Fairhope Plan-
ing and Zoning Commission approve the rezoning from R-2 to B-1
of the Parker- Harrington property in Sections 7-8 and 17-18, T69,
R2E as per plat and legal description on file for Trampoline Center
only and property to revert to R-2 zone if and when vacated by tram-
poline center.
Motion carried with Mr. Frederick not voting.
Claude Arnold presented preliminary subdivision plat of Denman lease
hold outside the city limits; he wasiequested to resubmit with sixty
foot right -of -ways and proposed streets running the entire length and
width of the property.
Mr. Warley read letter requesting the Planning Commission to recom.
mend tothe City Council the amendment of Ordinance 231 to extend
beyond the city limits.
Motion by 1"r. Pitman, seconded by tr. Malone, that the Fairhope
Planning Commission recommend to the Fairhope City Council that
it amend Zoning Ordinance 231 to include the Police Jurisdiction
of the City of Fairhope.
Voting aye: Woolley, Kirk, Pitman, Malone, Frederick.
Voting nay: Dyson
Next regular meeting Friday May 5, 1961.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
Following adjournment, Mr. Arch Winter, planning consultant of
T. Howard Ellis Architectural firm of Mobile exhibited colored
slides despicting steps in planning survey in a small Louisiana
