Subject: Planned Triangle Park Trail at Section St/Scen ic 98
Dear Mayor Wi lson ,
The Baldwi n County Trailblazers salutes the c ity for moving ahead with
plans to create a recreational use for the Triangle Property.
As we understand it, the proposed tra ils in that park will con nect to the
Eastern Shore Tra il, g iving walkers , joggers and riders ar ri v ing from
Daphne and Fairhope a new opt ion to explore .
Therefore , we support a multi-use t rail within the property, an d one that
accommodates a broad range of ab ilities and is ADA accessi ble .
We appreciate that IMBA Impact Solutions promotes itself as designer of
"trail systems that provide high-qual ity, sustainable experiences while
simu ltaneously min imizing ma in tenance needs and environmental
impacts."
However, we want to ensure that Eastern Shore Trail users , including
those who walk dogs , push strollers , and ride beach cruisers and road
bikes , will be able to enjoy the new park .
Very truly y urs ,
